Man City have well and truly announced their intentions to complete a potential treble this season with a sublime 3-0 victory over Sheffield United in the FA Cup Semi-final, as Riyad Mahrez completed the first FA Cup hat-trick for 65 years. 

City took their foot off the gas for the first half, but were still good enough to grab a crucial lead just before the break with a penalty from Mahrez. The Algerian winger was then inspired after the break, with two well-taken finishes in quick succession to make the game safe and move City a step closer to the Final.

This win cements City's position in the final, with the opportunity to complete a unique treble of titles before the season ends. Now their attention turns to Wednesday night when Arsenal travel to the Etihad, and with victory Guardiola's side may just have sealed the Premier League title too. 

What a great opportunity to write a piece of footballing history, and if anyone is going to do it, Man City are the team to make it happen. Let’s see if they can do it!
