As Chelsea search for the much-needed lift, Frank Lampard steps in for an interim charge and aims to ignite some life in his old stomping grounds. With the focus of the Premier League campaign coming to a standstill, the players must look ahead to the daunting task at hand; overturning a two-goal deficit in the Champions League against Real Madrid in midweek. The spotlight will shine bright on those given the chance to impress; notably N’Golo Kane, Thiago Silva, Joao Felix and new recruits Dennis Zakaria and Christian Pulisic. What an exciting match we witnessed tonight! Danny Welbeck's superb effort, effectively on his first touch after coming onto the pitch, saw him draw the score level. After missing multiple chances, Julio Enciso managed to fire home an unbelievable goal from a distance with only 20 minutes left in the match, which propelled Brighton closer to securing a place in the European Football stage next season. On the other hand, this goal and result only worsen Chelsea's performance throughout the entire campaign. Both teams put in an admirable effort and put on an amazing display of football for fans to witness. Here's hoping for an even more entertaining game between these two teams the next time they face off!
